2021 - Maa’aya Baskout - I Have Biscuit -  is an interactive performance based on an original script, following the journey of a person who has recently moved forcibly to live in another place, to obtain what so-called [The Permanent Ordinary Life Permit] which has the same concept of the residence card, he needs to do specific activities to reduce the time required to obtain the card, which in this country is called “Reduction of the waiting credits ”.

We’re following the journey of the “Son” who chose to tell his conclusions, ideas and what he achieved during his isolation period, which made him able to see very special connections between his present days and his very distant memories. Repetition in the son's solitude was an entrance through which he was able to find a link between himself and his "Aunt", who has accompanied the concept of repetition as a life practice for dozens of years.

The repetition for the son was an attempt to face the waiting of coming out from his temporary isolation. At this moment he was wondering if his aunt had lived in permanent isolation that made her fall into the trap of endless repetition. The son tells stories about repetition, about his intense love for Egyptian Chabbi music and its aggressive rhythms, and about demonstrations that have been repeating for a long time, and waiting for something.  Stories about his obsession with doubt, being held captive by the love of his hallucinations, and even keeping them. He talks about that man who used to walk for years with a small box, with the chant of: “I Have Biscuits” and the son’s discovery that there were no biscuits in the box.
